Goodby Riga

After spending almost eight months here in Riga, I'm off to Stockholm tomorrow on the ferry. I'm told this is a great way to travel within the Baltic region. It's an overnight ferry, we depart at 17:30 and arrive at 10:30.  I'm excited to explore this part of Europe and plan to visit Heldinki, St Petersburg, Tallinn and Vilnius.  

I spent my last night dining  in Old  Riga, busy with tourists. Then a drink in the rooftop loung of the Radisdob Blu with its magnificent views of Riga. It stays light out till past 23:00 and sunrise at 4:00. Seems like the body needs less sleep, too.
