Stockholm

Swedish history and geography are intertwined and fascinating to learn about. It makes it an interesting place to visit but also more challenging to get around. There was a rail accident on Thursdsy before a long holiday and rail service came to a standstill for most of the day and night.

There's plenty to see in and around Stockholm.  My favorite was the ABBA museum and they had a few films about the way they came together as a band. I have  to admit that if I hear Waterloo sung one more time I might just throw up.  It's the tune that launched their careers and was heard throughout the exhibits ad nauseum.

Lots and lots of water

Great architecture

Pretty lifelike aren't they?

The Vasa sank on its maiden voyage in 1620

Great fish
