Imlil to T'z Oussom

I left the comforts of Ilim to venture out to the countryside and to our visit Berber village. My guide Brahim, along with Omar the muleteer and cook for the next three days. The views are amazing, including the many small villages we can see on the distance and the terrace farming, goats and cows we met along the way. We encountered lots of hikers today, going in our direction and against, so it's a challenge to share the narrow mule trails. We took a long lunch break and Omar delighted us with a fresh salad and cooked beans, and wonderful mint tea, which Brahim called "Berber Schnapps". The gite where were spending the night is very rustic--I'll leave the rest up to your imagination. I dos get a hot shower, a bonus after a long day in the sun and dusty trail. I will sleep well tonight, for sure.
