Tinzirt to Imlil valley

This was the last day of hiking in this beautiful place. It was hot and dusty with lots of breaks. A short walk after lunch and mewtup with my driver back to Martakech.    This has been a fabulous way to see Morocco on foot and be able to interact with the villagers and get a glimpse of the Beeber way of life. Simple, yet rich in culture and sense of family and faith. Every little village has a mosque and an Imam who calls the villagers to pray 5 times a day.   You can pick out the mosque, always the tallest and best looking building in the village.

      Last night's dinner of couscous

         Good company for dinner
A beautiful sunset out my window

          A mosque in the distance

Taking a break from grazing for gazing

Lunch under the shade of a walnut
