Suck not Souk

Once you enter the Souk it sucks you in and you could get lost in there with no way to escape. "Lady, just take a look".  "Lady, you want to buy?"  "You like?"  Don't even get your camera out to take a picture, or someone will expect to get paid if you got them in the shot or not.  The saying goes, "they'd sell the shirt off your mothers back". Or something close-you get the idea.   The Rias Andalla where I'm staying is close to the main square and is a traditional Moroccan style. The staff is mostly French speaking and are quite attentive.
