De Hoge Veluwe National Park

It was nice to take a break from city life and spend a few relaxing days in the Dutch countryside. So after leaving Hambufg, I set off for De Hoge Veluwe National Park.  It's best known for its diverse landscape and the Kröller-Müllers Museum with the second largest Van Gogh exhibit--the first being in Amsterdam.  I rented an e-bike from my hotel which was 15km from the park and spent the day touring the park on the various bike paths.  A stop to visit the museum located in the park's center, a bag lunch and I was off again.  The weather was perfect and loads of fun playing with my e-bike. It felt like a cross between a standard bicycle and a moped.

The Kröller-Müllers were a Dutch couple who established the park and built the museum to showcase their art collection, especially their Van Gogh collection, which they acquired over many years in the early 20th century.
