Alissa and I have begun our pilgrimage across the south of France. Our first destination was the village of Macimin Ste Baume where Mary Magdalene is honored as a saint who brought the message of Jesus to France. Legend has it she spent her last years hiding in a cave high above the village, where she wrote her Gospel to Love. The cave has been enshrined with a chapel containing many artifacts and symbols of devotion.
