I started this blog in 2004 when I walked my first Camino in Spain. Since that time I've walked two others, the links are to the left. In between, I've travelled throughout Europe and Africa and most recently the US. I'll be embarking on another long distance walk on the Florida Scenic Train, starting in March of 2019.

Saying Goodbye
We've had to say goodby to Anthea and Britt who returned to the UK last week, so our group is down to nine. We returned the rental can and are now in Dean and Louise's trucks. We had a great four nights in the Glencairn Hotel and Dale our hostess has been very gracious and gone out of her way to make our stay comfortable and exciting. Two ghosts roam the premises and two nights ago there was a burglary. A man had left his cell phone on the bar and he decided to break in and retrieve it. While at it he thought he'd rob the till. Much to his chagrined there was no money in the till and the security guard apprehended him before he got away.
