I started this blog in 2004 when I walked my first Camino in Spain. Since that time I've walked two others, the links are to the left. In between, I've travelled throughout Europe and Africa and most recently the US. I'll be embarking on another long distance walk on the Florida Scenic Train, starting in March of 2019.

Table Mountain and Lion's Head, Capetown
Today we journeyed up to the top of Table Mountain, experiencing the energies of this incredible site - the legendary Umlindi Wemingizimu - The Stone Giant Watcher of the South! We visited the Third Eye Chakra – the upward gazing Eye of the “Table Mountain Goddess”. We opted for the cable car ride both ways, which was a relief for my ankle which had a good workout yesterday. The views were stunning as we were blessed with another glorious day of sun and no wind at the top.

ReplyDeletePS Fun to discover that an island and I in that far away land have the same name.
