I started this blog in 2004 when I walked my first Camino in Spain. Since that time I've walked two others, the links are to the left. In between, I've travelled throughout Europe and Africa and most recently the US. I'll be embarking on another long distance walk on the Florida Scenic Train, starting in March of 2019.

Stone Circles of Waterval Boven
Michael Tellinger was our ‘on site’ specialist today~ Scattered across Southern Africa are more than 10 million stone ruin structures that have captured the imagination of scholars and explorers for more than 500 years. Until recently they were thought to be dwellings and cattle enclosures of little historical value. Michael Tellinger’s persistent investigative research has shown that there is a direct connection between these ruins and the vanished gold mining civilization referred to in the Sumerian tablets that call this part of the world the Abzu, where the gold came from. The day spent walking and connecting with Stone Circles, song of the stones and the land.
