Asheville Camino

Asheville has its own 16 mile Camino that circumnavigates the town taking one through the scenic parts of town. The local chapter met last night for their monthly gathering at REI for a presentation by one of the pilgrims who  finished the Camino Francais last September. I got to meet an incredible group, many of whom have done at least half a dozen pilgrimages.   I was excited to meet Gail who begins the route from Les Puys in two weeks. That’s a route that has interested me for some time now.  The group also meets every Tuesday morning for coffee and will walk the Asheville Camino on Sunday morning. I plan on joining them, so stay tuned for that post.  I’m truly impressed with how dedicated a group this is and how much experience they have individually and collectively.
