Hot Springs, NC

I spent a relaxing afternoon soaking in the hot mineral water at Hot Springs Spa.  Followed with a massage. I’ve been on the road for six months and really needed a good neck, shoulder and back de-stresser. A perfect antidote. The hot tub was facing the French Broad River.  I always smile when I hear the name of the river. I picture a bordello in France with French women, I.e. “broads”. I’m sure the name has a more reverent meaning.
