I spent two nights with friends Ed and Carol, who I met on the Camino Francais in 2014. We didn’t spend that much time walking but made a nice connection that has lasted these many years. The Camino has that effect on people. We had fun catching up on our respective travels. We spent one evening at a local brewery sampling some very interesting brews. The next night we went to a fun outdoor concert featuring a Latin Jazz band. Two other friends from the UK joined us. The weather was perfect for an outdoor picnic and eclectic music. I shall miss Ed and Carol and their hound Roxy who took a liking to me. Feelings were mutual.
I started this blog in 2004 when I walked my first Camino in Spain. Since that time I've walked two others, the links are to the left. In between, I've travelled throughout Europe and Africa and most recently the US. I'll be embarking on another long distance walk on the Florida Scenic Train, starting in March of 2019.
