I started this blog in 2004 when I walked my first Camino in Spain. Since that time I've walked two others, the links are to the left. In between, I've travelled throughout Europe and Africa and most recently the US. I'll be embarking on another long distance walk on the Florida Scenic Train, starting in March of 2019.

Gorges State Park
It’s called Gorges, but should be called “gorgeous” for its beauty. Known for the abundance of waterfalls, it lives up to its name. I’m camping at a primitive site called Ray Fisher Campground and its a short distance to Rainbow and Turtleback Falls. Lots of crazies jumping, diving and playing in the pools. Very tempting on a hot day. It’s Memorial weekend, so very busy everywhere.
