I had a full day and so was able to get in two hikes to very different falls. The Twin Falls hike followed Avery Creek along the Buckhorn Gap. There were probably a dozen stream crossings on log bridges. I saw lots of native rhododendrons, all past their bloom, but did see a few Mountain Laurel, another favorite flowering shrub. Twin Falls was pretty spectacular and worth the hike.
Moore Cove Falls was far less dramatic, but easy to access and cascaded over a cave-like outcropping.
